Valhalla Boatworks has expanded its outboard sport yacht model range with the 46 Sport Yacht, a 46’7” luxury cruiser that blends the brand’s stepped-hull performance with true weekender comfort. Unveiled at the 2025 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, the V-46SY is conceived as an “ultimate getaway” platform - equally at home day-boating with friends or cruising as a couple or family.

Two pilothouse personalities
Buyers can choose enclosed or open pilothouse configurations. The enclosed version adds climate-controlled comfort, powered side doors, and an aft bulkhead with a full-width summer kitchen and a powered drop-down window that opens the space to the cockpit. The open version removes the bulkhead entirely, creating one continuous indoor-outdoor deck. Both variants include a powered sunroof and raised companion seating behind three helm chairs at a starboard-side helm with flush-mounted MFDs and a one-piece windshield for clear sightlines.
Cockpit & deck made social
Like the 55 Sport Yacht, the V-46SY features twin powered balcony doors that broaden the deck area at anchor. A starboard ladder and port dive door simplify water access, while twin transom gates lead to a boarding platform outboard of the engines. Forward, wraparound bow seating with a table and a large sunpad with skylight (brightening the cabin below) dial up the lounge factor. Cockpit seating is a U-shaped module with armrests, table, and configurable storage; options can convert this zone to a sunpad or back-to-back seating.
Performance & systems
Power choices include triple or quad Mercury V12 Verado outboards. Tankage is generous - 800 gal fuel, 90 gal fresh water, 44 gal holding, plus 49 gal of diesel for the generator - to support longer cruising. A double-stepped hull underpins the running attitude, and the machinery space below the cockpit is organized for clean access to the Seakeeper, sea chest, and service points.
Cabin accommodations
A portside companionway leads to a bright, finely finished interior. The layout places a galley to starboard, a forward master with queen berth, and a split head/shower (the head is also accessible from the galley for day use). Twin berths aft accommodate guests, delivering a bona fide cruising experience in a 46-foot footprint.
The V-46SY brings Valhalla’s offshore DNA into a compact sport-yacht that shortens the jump from inspiration to overnighting - fast, stylish, and ready for serious fun on the water. We look forward to reporting on more details on the new 46 Sport Yacht as the new build progresses.
