The Riviera 64 Sports Motor Yacht is a sporty 69.8-foot luxury flybridge yacht first introduced in 2019 by leading Australian yacht builder, Riviera Yachts. This family-oriented boat allows owners to make the most of their time out on the water, be it a weekend of snorkeling or a long-haul adventure, with a range of amenities and options suited to sportfishers, bon vivants, and lounge lizards alike.
Stepping aboard the spacious boarding platform, two transom doors lead to the aft cockpit, a self-draining, fish-fighting theater with a live bait tank, in-sole fishboxes, and side coaming lockers. Grill up your catch on the portside barbecue unit, grab a few beers from the fridge-freezer (or additional insulated icebox), keeping your workstation clean thanks to a waste bin chute.
Two gentle steps direct you to the second tier of the cockpit, where a convivial starboard mezzanine lounge awaits, sheltered from the sun and rain by the flybridge overhang. Dinner and drinks can be had by 6-8 people, each sitting around a gorgeous teak dining table. A long, comfortable settee is situated to starboard, perfect for accommodating larger gatherings.
The salon flows seamlessly from the cockpit courtesy of an exquisite stainless-steel framed glass door and a large opening window that connects the aft galley with the outdoor lounge. As you step into the salon, note how the sporty, contemporary feel of the exterior becomes more opulent, with exquisite high-gloss cabinetry throughout. This sociable galley boasts first-class appliances, including a combination oven/microwave and grill, a 3-zone cooktop, a full-height four-drawer fridge-freezer.
Out on the bow, owners can launch and secure their tender thanks to a low-impact davit. However, this space gives the cockpit a run for its money when it comes to entertaining. Foldaway settees transform this space into a U-shaped seating area with ice boxes for refreshments and Bluetooth speakers to set the mood. For those who want a little more protection from the sun, there is an optional sunshade awning.
The indoor-outdoor lifestyle continues up on the flybridge, which features an enclosed internal bridge and an open-air aft deck. Inside the flybridge, guests will enjoy the deluxe L-shaped lounge and ottoman table. A drawer refrigerator, LED television, and six-speaker sound system provide all the ingredients for a good time. The external aft deck is certain to put you in touch with the elements as you relax on the L-shaped settee, whose dining table offers a further option for al fresco meals.
After a full day of sun and sea breeze, retreat to the lower deck where four staterooms and three heads await. The owner’s suite is a luxurious full-beam getaway with large hull windows and plenty of natural light. This spacious cabin features a queen-size walkaround bed, cedar-lined hanging lockers, an LED television and a safe, as well as a spa-like en suite with an enormous shower, large teak bench, and room for all your toiletries.
The forward VIP suite is worthy of the name, sure to impress guests with a walkaround queen bed, storage, and en suite bathroom with full-size shower. This cabin never feels cramped or stuffy, boasting two hull windows on either side of the bed. Two further cabins, to port and starboard, are comfortably appointed: the portside cabin features two twin beds that can be pushed together to form a double, while the starboard cabin features two Pulman style beds.
The 64 is equipped with two standard MAN V8 shaft-drive engines with a combined 2,600HP, although owners can opt for more powerful MAN V12s with 1,550HP apiece.
